Proto, at the time was manufacturing wrenches, etc under Proto and Challenger brands in addition to providing private brand labeling - eg: tritest wrenches for true value hardware.
The Stanley works purchased Proto tools in 1984. Wrench set is new unused and in excellent condition no owners marks nor other engravings as to why there a Husky Challenger.
